Dr. Arvind Poswal from India has done more body hair to head hair transplants (known via the acronym BHT) than any other surgeon in the world. In a large portion of the hair transplant cases that Dr. Poswal has presented online, body hair represents at least a small fraction of the total hair moved to the scalp.

Usually, body hair is used as a supplemental resource in a hair transplant. There is no hair transplant surgeon in the world who has presented as many BHT cases online as Dr. Poswal.

While shaved heads became increasingly popular in the 1990s and first decade of the 2000s for celebrities losing their hair, it seems like hair transplants, wigs/weaves/toupees/hair systems, and various types of head coloring are becoming increasingly popular in this decade.  Two interesting example from this month:
